Moab, UT

Okay let's talk about the Trip to Moab.  We left Phoenix a little before 9:00 am.  The FC was awesome.  Before our trip in preparation my brother spent Saturday working.  Chris did some fluid checks (transmission fluid needed), replaced fuel filters(two needed), and a field repair on the radiator hose (hitting the front differential).  So we take off from Phoenix and my estimate of 17 mpg proves false, how about 8 mpg, with a 15 gallon tank its fortunate we had purchased an extra 5 gallon gas tank.

We receive a surprise passenger "Mariah"

Nice view of the Road from the FC.  The trip was nice but we had a stiff headway, which you can definitely feel in the FC as you are riding along.  The temperature dropped from a nice warm 90 to around 42 when we arrived at Moab.

View of the Mountain at Flagstaff.
View out the Back of the FC in Utah just south of MOAB

We took off and even with a stiff headwind we are able to average ~65 mph.  It was beautiful day sunny skies.  Unfortunately we had a 40 mph headwind.
